The dining area houses a huge amount of storage. Both sides of the dinette seating have storage within. Locks on the lids provide that added security. A Safe is also located within one of these seat boxes for any valuables.

Also within the ‘U’ shape of the seating area, the Suburban instantaneous hot water system is mounted vented through the wall of the van. This also houses the sealed gas storage box also vented through the floor of the van.

At the rear of the van you will find the outdoor shower unit for that quick rinse off after the beach or a full on proper hot shower. The van has a 85L fresh water storage in the cupboard area under the sink and a 43L Grey water mounted under the van. Due to the large fuel tank in this particular van there was no room to fit a large water tank underneath therefore making arrangements to mount within.

The Van is powered by a 120ah AGM battery and Projecta DC-DC Charger. It has a hefty 300W of solar on the roof to keep everything nice and maintained.

In the kitchen there is a handy 6 drawer system with Blum Tandembox drawer units along with the use of RV Labs latching lip pull handles. It also contains a Bushman 130L fridge to keep your food and drinks cold. The benches are constructed from Vic Ash timber and surrounded by a sage green tiled splash back.

‘Yaz’ affectionately named after its Rego plate, is an Ex Victoria Ambulance Vehicle. Its a MWB Low Roof 4x4 Mader - Mercedes Benz Sprinter.

When purchased by its owners, it was still completely decked out in all its Ambo glory. After having it all stripped back to her internal bones it was time to breathe some new, fresh life into this beast.

The clients wanted to have a working indoor kitchen area, with ample fresh water storage and plenty of workspace area. They wanted to have hot water, maximise as much storage as possible and also a skylight in this section to be able to fully stand up while cooking etc.

The living space was to have a dining area that would convert to a bed space to wisely use the internal space and create a versatile area. A Nuova Mapa table was used to give movement to the table and also drop down and lock in, to complete the bed jigsaw.

Overhead storage was a must across the kitchen area and also over the bed area. Given the width of the van is approx 1700mm, we decided to add a higher storage facility as a backrest under the overheads. This helped to create more storage but also the ability to sit comfortably in the dining area and not feel like you are sitting directly under the overhead cabinetry.
